Why Yin Medicine?

Yin Medicine is a Traditional Chinese Medicine and Reiki Practice, that focuses on supporting people in finding comfort and peace in their bodies through different modalities that enhance the connection between body and mind.

  • Yin Medicine focuses on supporting people and addressing pain in their bodies, specifically with digestion, menstruation and mental health. Yin Medicine uses Traditional Chinese Medicine techniques such as acupressure, Tui Na (Chinese Massage), Cupping and Gua sha to support physical symptoms. Reiki addresses the energetic and emotional aspects of the patient's pain such as anxiety, stress, discomfort, grief, etc. and releases these patterns and blockages.

Yin Medicine aims to provide a welcoming and supportive space to all patients and provide each individual with tools to maintain the peace they find in their bodies through this medicine to be of long-term benefit. Yin Medicine hopes to change the experience that LGBTQIA+ individuals, Neurodivergent people and all individuals of diverse backgrounds have in healthcare, to be one where each patient is heard and their story and experience in health is important.
